Honestly, I don’t think I could possibly express how in love with this wedding I was. It was the absolute best way to end my time here in Wilmington and I am so excited for Jenna + Michael to spend the rest of their lives together!
Susannah + Stephen got married October 13 at Belle Vue, and oh man were all the sweat and tears getting here worth it! With only 50 guests, the Wards had their closest family and friends with them, and the love was felt in every part of the wedding. From getting ready to the last dance at the reception, the emotion was overwhelming.
I’m so happy we were all able to come together in the wake of disaster (this is the kindest, sweetest couple and they deserve every bit of joy!) and celebrate the new Mr. and Mrs. Baker. Congrats, y’all!
This bridal session was unlike any other: Jennifer brought her beautiful pups along with her to shoot her portraits. Riley and Cali looked so stunning and regal with their flower collars, and their momma was a vision in her wedding gown!
I love everything about downtown Wilmington weddings—the river views, the cool air and especially the people. June 30, one of the coolest couples around tied the knot at Bakery 105 and it was nothing short of amazing!
Another day, another stunning wedding. Seriously…how on earth did I get so lucky to have all these amazing, creative clients?! I traveled all the way to Asheville, North Carolina to photograph Kaylie + Kevin at the incredible, unbeatable Biltmore Estate.
No exaggeration…this wedding was perfection. Kat + Dan are like, super in love; the boho theme weaved throughout their wedding was executed flawlessly; the cake was amazing; and the dance floor was never empty!
Courtney and Nick's wedding was definitely one for the ages! Neuse Breeze provided the perfect backdrop for this gorgeous spring ceremony and reception. The entire day was filled with love, laughter, excitement…and partying till the sun came up.
March 28, the beauty of Airlie Gardens was only outdone by Joanna and Dan's wedding. The sun and warmth, the Lord of the Rings music and details (the little candles, earrings and even the vows were inspired by the trilogy), and the love in the air made it just spectacular.
When I first met Crystal and David, they told me stories about how they met on a boat and got engaged on a boat, so of course, we had to incorporate a marina into their engagement session! We walked around this beautiful location, and they could not keep smiles off their faces. They love living life together, and it shows in everything these two do!
First off, I just have to say…every single one of my couples are AMAZING. I am so lucky to be able to capture these love-filled moments and working with Kaylie and Kevin was no exception. We met at their home and ranch and I was able to shoot them in their natural habitats with their pups, horse and gorgeous red barn!
I seriously LOVE exploring new places, especially with a couple as fun and adventurous as Lucie + Jon!! We hiked all over Fort Fisher; climbing into little dens, crawling over rocks, and getting slammed by waves.
Shelby + Hristo seriously BLEW ME AWAY with this session! Beach sessions are some of my favorites, and this was no exception. We kicked it off in some greenery, where me and Shelby bonded over our Harry Potter tattoos (those three little stars have so much meaning!) and then hit the beach to run around in some waves!
From the revolutionary-era mansions to the Cape Fear boardwalks, downtown Wilmington has my heart. Exploring this beautiful place is always better when I get to hang with even more beautiful couples like Marta and Adam!
Arianna and Paul are one of my gorgeous 2018 couples, and our early morning was spent at The Arboretum in Wilmington. I'd never shot there before, and I have to say I am OBSESSED! These two are seriously so much fun, and their laid-back style made this session such a breeze. It was so easy to capture their smiles because they were laughing and having fun the entire time!
Jennifer and Dylan were my last engagement session while I was home in Dallas a few weeks ago...and goodness were they showstoppers! We met at White Rock Lake and explored the area with their two Aussies, Riley and Cali.
When Annie and David decided to book me for their Wilmington, NC wedding, they told me they lived in the Dallas, TX area...aka the place I grew up and call home! The stars aligned (and so did our schedules), so this gorgeous couple and I were able to schedule this session when I was in town a couple weeks ago!
In the midst of visiting family and friends back home in Texas, I couldn't help but schedule a few engagement sessions. Raul and Ellen kicked off the weekend by having an early morning shoot with me in Dallas. After our first spot was taken by a marathon, we improvised and explored Deep Ellum!
